if there's anything i learnt of use in the past 2 years its this: respect has got to be earned. when you're a a piece of shit, don't expect anyone to give a damn about you. you just gotta keep hammering away and improve yourself, its not about lowering your self esteem. its about acknowledging the fact that you just ain't good enough and working harder.

the idea of a class blog is getting more and more unappealing as each school day gets worse and worse. maybe when the holidays finally come around we may actually have something to say, yes? i forgot what i was going to say, only that i was supposed to say something, even though this place is dead anyway.

ah i was also going to say i wish an end to all animosity and bad feeling among.. well everyone and anyone, which is easier said than achieved. because inherently everyone means well i guess, its just everything getting everyone on everyone else's nerves.. yeah well, so much for being specific and concise. oh and not to forget world peace, and all the rest of it.

random lyrics, because i am in a lyric-y mood and i currently feel like sleeping forever and never getting up. one hell of a great song:

sing me to sleep, sing me to sleep
i'm tired and i want to go to bed
sing me to sleep, sing me to sleep
and then leave me alone
don't try to wake me in the morning cause i will be gone
don't feel bad for me
i want you to know
deep in the cell of my heart
i will feel so glad to go.

sing me to sleep, sing me to sleep
i don't want to wake up on my own anymore
sing to me, sing to me
i don't want to wake up on my own anymore
don't feel bad for me
i want you to know
deep in the cell of my heart
i really want to go

there is another world
there is a better world
there must be

- Asleep, The Smiths

my sentiments exactly.

in this life, the only time worth wearing your heart on your sleeve is when you have the crest etched over it.

he trudged along the deserted quay on a sunday afternoon, guitar in one hand, notes in the other. the empty cafe seemed like an oasis among the hosts of deserted and empty clubs and bars. settling in, he sipped his coffee and proceeded to strum his guitar, playing songs that remind him of a girl he can only dream of but can never hold. when he felt like it, he would switch to looking through his notes, scribbling them down in an attempt to commit them to a memory already overloaded with details and worries. as the day wore on and the sun began to set, he strolled along the river in deep thought. looking up at the majestic hotel set forth in front of him, he wondered when he could be in the suite, sipping cocktails and rubbing shoulders with people who matter. beyond that lay the club, with its white washed walls and green roofs, another place of meeting for those who matter in society, the high and mighty. sitting there, waiting for his bus he strummed his guitar. playing a song for the girl he loved but would never love him back, a song for the dreams that remain dreams.

after 2 hrs in a coffee bean a regular pure chocolate ice blended and 100 pages of decline and fall on a saturday afternoon, i've come to a conclusion that i entered this instituition and this classroom with the most flawed concept of what i was going to do in my 2 years here.
